About: This tour is located inside the Villas Vista Arenal hotel. It is a convenient location since it is right in town in La Fortuna. They explain the processes of making chocolate and coffee from plant to final product. It is an interactive tour where you get to touch and taste as the tour goes on. However, because of the location, there isn’t a large coffee or cacao farm on the property. Rather they have just a few plants to demonstrate. They also don’t have a lot of the large machinery that coffee and cacao plantations have and use for processing. They still give a great explanation and the tour guides are very knowledgeable.
