About: This is a much lesser-known hike in the Rio Celeste area. It is only accessible with a guide and you will climb about 750 meters in elevation to a final elevation of 1350 meters above sea level. The hike starts in the rainforest and finishes in the cloud forest at the tapir lagoon which is at the top of one of the three craters of the Tenorio Volcano. This is the only accessible crater of the three. You have the chance to see the tapir or other local wildlife.
