About: This coffee tour is run by a local co-op organization, Coopeatenas, and while not as small-scale as some other the other family-run coffee tours, this co-op is able to work with the local community on several social projects and businesses like the local supermarket, gas station, hardware store, auto shop, and liquor store. This coffee tour is located outside of the main metropolitan area of Costa Rica, where you get to see a more rural and typical Costa Rican lifestyle. You will learn about the entire coffee growing and making process, and see both the plantation as well as the processing plant.
