Crater La Olla

Posted on December 16, 2024August 5, 2024 by Ultimate Guide

About: This is a popular place to see the sunset. It does require a short but steep hike to the top of the hill. There are bathrooms, and limited food and drinks are sold, but you can also bring your own food for a picnic. It can get very cold and windy, and of course rainy in the rainy season, so definitely dress warm and check the weather if you plan on staying for the sunset to best ensure for clear skies. During the rainy season, there is a “crater” that fills with water and looks like a little pond.
