Espiritu Santo Coffee Tour

Posted on July 16, 2024July 18, 2024 by Ultimate Guide

About: This coffee tour is the Goldilocks of all coffee tours. It is located right in town, albeit a small town, so it is neither too rural or remote nor too close to the big city. It is not too small-scale nor too large-scale, but rather run by a co-op of several families. It is informative and interactive, and you learn all about how coffee is grown and made before you get to sample some. There is a gift shop.

Province: Alajuela

Starting from: Downtown Alajuela

Time to reach from starting location: 41 minutes

Time needed for activity: 1.5 hours

Kid friendly: Yes

Wheelchair accessible: Yes

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, walking or hiking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, umbrella, poncho or rain jacket, camera

Tips: It can be a great day trip from the city and there are a lot of things to do in the nearby towns. You can also stop here as a pit stop on a longer trip.
