Horseback Riding Costa Rica

Posted on June 21, 2024June 4, 2024 by Ultimate Guide

About: This company offers two horseback riding tours: one to Arenal Volcano and the other to La Fortuna Waterfall, both of which are great options to do two activities in one. They offer group tours as well as private tours.

Province: Alajuela

Starting from: La Fortuna

Time to reach from starting location: 4 minutes

Time needed for activity: 2-3 hours

Kid friendly: 4+

Wheelchair accessible: No

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, walking or hiking shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, camera, backpack, water, snacks

Tips: If you choose the La Fortuna Waterfall option, you definitely don’t need to return for a separate visit. However if you choose the Arenal Volcano option, you might want to still do another separate volcano hike where you get to see the old lava formations and get a bit closer to the volcano. In this respect, I recommend choosing the La Fortuna Waterfall option.
