Katira Labyrinth

Posted on March 12, 2024February 15, 2024 by Ultimate Guide

About: There are two mazes, one is circular and the other is square. The circular one is very difficult. There is a nice platform in the center of the circular one. The square one is a bit easier. It is not everyone’s cup of tea but it is something different. Older children will probably enjoy it the most.

Province: Alajuela

Starting from: La Fortuna

Time to reach from starting location: 1 hour 5 minutes

Time needed for activity: 2 hours

Kid friendly: Yes, but should be accompanied by an adult.

Wheelchair accessible: No

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, walking or hiking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, poncho or rain jacket, camera, binoculars, water, snacks

Tips: Take a picture of the maps ahead of time just in case you need them. They sell some drinks but no food. If you get really stuck they will help you out if you want, or always go right (or always left).
