La Arboleda Trails

About: This is a nice, well-organized place for hiking, as well as mountain biking, right in the city. They have a good set of trails that go up a hill where you can appreciate a beautiful view at the top. They are only open on Saturdays and Sundays. They allow pets. They also have a small bike ramp circuit that’s perfect for kids on bikes. They also have a large open grass area with the slightest incline that is great for kids learning to ride.

Time needed for activity: 2-3 hours

Wheelchair accessible: No

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, walking or hiking shoes, change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, umbrella, poncho or rain jacket, camera, backpack, water, snacks, pack lunch

Tips: Go as early as you can as it gets very hot very fast. They open at 6 a.m. Most of the trails are in the shade, but even so it is very hot.
