About: This is a great place to stop if on your way to La Fortuna if you’re wanting to see wildlife and you have kids. The nature park is huge, so you can definitely wear the kids out. You’ll be able to see a lot of local wildlife exhibits. Though not as exciting as seeing the animals in the wild, you can guarantee to see a variety of species that you may not otherwise get the chance to see. They also have a trail going down behind several waterfalls. The amazing part is that it reaches the road at the bottom where they offer a free shuttle service to bring you back to the reception, so you don’t have to climb back up. They also have a restaurant which serves a buffet lunch that you can pay for with your ticket as part of a package.
