Los Gigantes Sendero

About: This private family farm has a 6 kilometer (each way out-and-back) hiking trail for day use. It is a steep hike up to the peak, where there is a restaurant you can have lunch at and enjoy the views. There is a river with natural pools near the trailhead that you can relax in after your hike back down. They also have a cabin and camping area for overnight stays.

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, warm clothes, extra socks, walking or hiking shoes, sandals or water shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, poncho or rain jacket, camera, backpack, water, snacks

Tips: A 4×4 SUV is recommended, as well as making an advance reservation so they know to expect you, especially if you plan on having lunch.
