About: A private reserve with over 9 kilometers of hiking trails, plus a hanging bridge, viewpoints, and an observation deck. This is a unique experience because the trails reach the continental divide where on a very clear day you can see both east and west. There is a parking lot about a kilometer from the entrance where you can leave your car and take a shuttle for a small fee to the entrance. Otherwise you can park on the side of the road up near the reserve. However, spots are limited.

Tips: I recommend using the parking lot and shuttle service on a weekend or if you arrive later in the morning. If you go early right when it opens (7 am), you may not have trouble with parking at the reserve. Afterward, head to the Hummingbird Cafe right next door to see some hummingbirds and have a warm drink and snack.
