Puente Hamaca de la Alegria

About: This is a great little scenic stop on Route 244. It is a hanging bridge that crosses the San Carlos River. It can be accessed from either side and is a bridge that is actively used by locals. There are paths down to the river where you can sit and have a picnic.

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, walking or hiking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, camera

Tips: It is best to go during broad daylight and not alone as there are reports of robberies after dark.
