About: This volcano is part of Braulio Carrillo National Park, which has two sectors available to the public, the Barva Volcano Sector and the Quebrada Gonzalez Sector. This sector has 4 hiking trails totaling about 10 kilometers which visit the volcano crater as well as a lagoon and a viewpoint. There is drinking water, bathrooms, tables, and a camping area for overnight camping.
