About: This large waterfall is a great option for several reasons: it is easily accessible, just off Highway 1; it is owned and organized by the city and is popular among locals and foreigners alike; there is plenty of parking; reservations are not required; there is a short hike down stairs to reach the falls; it has plenty of space to sit and shade around the waterfall; the natural pool is very large and calm which makes it easy for swimming, even for young children since there is sand and not rocks; and there are bathrooms. Pets are not allowed. Food is not sold here, but there are some souvenirs for sale.
