About: This is the main beach in Samara. It is an excellent beach despite being right next to town. It is large, and therefore never too crowded even though the town is relatively large. The sand is clean and fine and it is picture perfect. There are tide pools and areas with calm, small waves. There is also a river near the north end. It is in a bay, and there is a small island just on the edge of the bay called Isla Chora. There are many restaurants and shops right on the beach or just off the beach in town.
