Pitahaya Beach

Posted on February 2, 2026April 15, 2025 by Ultimate Guide

About: This is a beautiful secluded beach that is not frequented by tourists due to its location and difficulty to reach. The roads both south and north of the beach are dirt roads that can have a lot of potholes. You need a 4×4 SUV to reach, especially during the rainy season. The sand is fine but there are large rocks and tidepools. The waves can be calm or rough and have riptides depending on conditions, so always take care when swimming. It is a great place to watch the sunset.
