About: Located in the town of Aquiares in a small valley near Turrialba, this coffee plantation offers several tours including a standard coffee tour where you learn all about coffee and how it is grown, harvested and processed. There is also a full day coffee tour, which goes a lot more in depth and you participate in much of the aforementioned processes, including picking coffee beans, planting your own coffee trees, roasting your own beans and preparing your own cup of coffee, as well as meeting plantation workers and hearing their stories.
