Cataratas Don Jose

Posted on March 13, 2025November 25, 2024 by Ultimate Guide

About: This is a great pit stop while passing through. It is a little hike to see 2 waterfalls. One is a short easy trail, and the other is a bit longer and steeper, as well as muddier, especially in the rainy season. The second waterfall has access at the base as well as the top, where there is a natural pool that you can swim in. Pets are allowed. There is also a company that offers canyoning or rappelling at the falls for an additional fee, but you want to make reservations to ensure availability.
