About: This is one of several viewpoints in the region that locals go to to enjoy spectacular views all the way to the Pacific Coast. It is particularly breathtaking during a colorful sunset. There are many places to park, both lower and higher on the hill, and depending on what car you have you may want to park at the lower area and walk up the hill. You can bring snacks and enjoy the views. You can hike around the area. Don’t leave valuables visible and unattended.

Tips: Be careful which roads you take to reach here, as not all may have access. There are no lights on the roads until the main highway, so if you do stay for sunset, be aware that you will be driving back in the dark. During rainy season the roads can get muddy and your car can get stuck if you are not careful.
