About: There isn’t much here other than a stop to closely observe the wind turbines. It is also a few minutes out of the way if you’re going from La Fortuna to Monteverde or vice versa, but if you’ve never seen them before and have the time, it’s worth making the short detour, especially if you have kids as it can be educational and awe-inspiring for them. There is a gate prohibiting access, but you can still take decent pictures.

Tips: This isn’t the pit stop to stay for a long break and enjoy a snack. You’re better off doing that at Cerro Tovar, Parque del Viento, just up the road closer to the main town. Just plan on taking some pictures and moving along.
