About: This private reserve offers a trail that goes through forest and coffee plantation, as well as next to a river, to reach a waterfall. There are also natural pools that you can swim in. It is an out-and-back trail of about 2 kilometers each way. There is elevation gain and beautiful views since it is in the mountains between Santa Ana and Escazu. There are spots to have a picnic by the river near the entrance.

Tips: No food is sold onsite, so bring your own. It is best to arrive via Santa Ana, as the route from Escazu is extremely steep and unpaved and therefore not ideal for all cars.
