About: Ostional is best known for being a turtle nesting beach. When it is turtle nesting or hatching season, you can visit the beach to watch this happen. However, to help protect the turtles, visitation can only be done with a local guide on an organized tour. Therefore, it is not a beach for swimming or hanging out, except when turtles are not nesting or hatching.
