About: This is a really great hidden gem that even a lot of locals seemingly don’t know about. It can get more crowded on weekends and holidays, but if you visit during the week you will likely have the place mostly to yourself. It is an expansive park with many different areas. There are hiking trails, playgrounds, soccer fields, volleyball and basketball courts, a few small farm animals, and ranchos with grills for barbecuing. It is a great place to have a picnic and spend a day relaxing in nature right in the city. Once you get inside, you feel very disconnected from the city. Overnight tent camping is also allowed here. There are swimming pools but they are not currently in use.
