About: This is a great family beach. It is a good middle ground between touristy and off the beaten path. It is still popular (mostly with locals) on weekends and holidays, and can even get crowded, though nothing like the really popular spots like Tamarindo. There is a restaurant and some snacks sold on the beach. It can be great for boogie boarding or body surfing. There is no shade close to the water, so definitely bring a shade tent to avoid getting cooked.
