About: This wildlife rehabilitation center offers educational tours that allow visitors to learn about and get up close with native Costa Rican wildlife. They receive animals that have been rescued from various situations, always with the goal of rehabilitating them and returning them to the wild as soon as possible. However, not all cases can be returned to the wild, and therefore they keep them and give them the best life possible. Your visit supports their efforts of education and conservation. It is a great place to get to know a lot of wildlife that you may not have the opportunity to see in the wild during your visit to Costa Rica. They have a restaurant and small gift shop. They also provide volunteer opportunities as well as veterinary services to animals including typical household pets.
