About: One of the largest animal sanctuaries in Costa Rica, this rescue center boasts a wide variety of animals, including mammals, reptiles, birds, and amphibians that you can observe up close. They are focused on the rehabilitation of injured animals with the goal of returning them to the wild if possible. They have over 650 animals, an animal hospital, a gift shop, a restaurant, and much more. You can do either a self-guided walk through the rescue center or pay for a guided tour.
