Rosada/Quarzo Beach

About: This beach is only accessible at low tide by walking north from Garza Beach or south from Guiones Beach. It is called Rosada or Quarzo Beach due to its slightly pink sand color. It has tide pools covering the water’s edge, so it is not a beach for swimming. It is great for checking out the tide pools and taking pictures of the pink sand.

What to wear and bring: Comfortable clothes, tennis or water shoes, swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, umbrella or shade, camera, backpack, water, snacks, pack lunch

Tips: Do not bring a lot to carry, other than a small backpack with water and snacks. Make sure to have secure shoes, either water shoes or tennis shoes, and not flip flops.
