About: This is the second of two sectors of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, the other being Sector Pailas. Sector Pailas has 2 waterfall trails and a volcanic activity trail with fumaroles and mud pots. This sector’s primary attractions are natural hot springs and a restored traditional house. There are a 3 trails, ranging in length from half a kilometer to 6 kilometers. There is also a small waterfall, as well as volcanic vents that are unique from the ones in Sector Pailas since they emit cold water, instead of hot mud.
