About: This is the second of two sister beaches to Grande Beach, the other being Ventanas Beach. Carbon Beach is reached by parking at Ventanas Beach and walking north on a trail through the trees. The trail is narrow and can be overgrown. This beach is called Carbon Beach because it is a black sand beach. It is even more remote than Ventanas Beach. You can swim or snorkel here, but pay attention to the currents.
