Tamarindo Beach

About: This is the main beach in Tamarindo. It is a very long beach, and can be very crowded as the town of Tamarindo is one of the largest beach towns in Costa Rica. There are plenty of vendors selling drinks, snacks, and tours. It is easy to take a break from the beach to have lunch in town. It is a popular beach for surfing, swimming, sunbathing, and many activities like horseback riding and water sports. Tamarindo is a popular town for families and young crowds. If you are looking for something calmer and quieter, come during the off season, or try a different beach.
