Ventanas Beach

Posted on April 18, 2026April 23, 2025 by Ultimate Guide

About: This beach is one of two sister beaches to Grande Beach, the other being Carbon Beach just north of Ventanas Beach. Ventanas Beach is a hidden gem. It is a relatively long beach with fine, white sand and clear water. There can be currents, as with any beach. There is a large rock in the middle which you can walk around. There are tide pools on the north side of the beach, and there are large natural pools in the rocks that you can get in during low tide. To reach Ventanas Beach, drive north on the dirt road from Grande Beach. The road gets narrow and the dirt loose and sandy. During the rainy season, it’s important to have good traction and high clearance. Otherwise it is an easy drive. There are several places to pull off and park right on the beach. There is no shade, no vendors, and no restrooms. There are rarely a lot of people here.
